Meet Your Mentor!

Hey, Birth Pals! I'm Rebekkah and I am the Doula, maternal educator and business coach behind The Birth Work Company & The Birth Work Academy! I'm 30 years old and the mother of 3 children ages 9, 7 and 5. I currently serve the Red Deer AB area!

My Doula credentials include:

5 years of full-spectrum Doula and maternal educator experience
Certification through a 4-month doula program
6-week breastfeeding educator training & cert.
6-week childbirth educator training & cert.
EMR Training (Alberta College of Paramedics registration pending)

Over the past 4 years, I have spent time in the Birth worker community as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Business Educator for a Doula training organization and discovered a talent for graphic design, business and marketing! I currently provide carefully designed business tools, childbirth education handouts, one-on-one mentorship, and group business workshops to Doulas of all experience levels!

I am passionate about helping other Birth workers to find their spark and serve their communities in ways unique to them! I believe that when we as Doulas encourage and help each other, we are better equipped to support our growing communities.

I can answer any and all of your questions, provide emotional support, offer encouragement, and be a knowledgeable resource of information and education over the course of your mentorship! After your mentorship you are also welcome to reach out as you encounter challenges in your business!

Private Business Lessons

I believe that practical tools and business education are keys to growing a successful, sustainable, and fulfilling birth work business! As part of your mentorship I will walk you through The Birth Work Academy's Doula Business Training one on one! Each of the 10 classes is packed with practical, easy to follow lessons you can apply right away! Each lesson also includes worksheets and notes for you to refer back to!

Digital Resources

I believe that every Doula deserves to have beautiful, thorough business and education documents regardless of their design skills! I have created over 80 digital Doula business, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum education tools and handouts! As part of your mentorship you will receive a curated kit of business tools, Doula handouts, and templates worth over $300 for you to customize and use within your practice!
